From Seedtime to Harvest

Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us that there is a season for everything. We don’t all live in the same season at the same time. You should never be jealous of someone who is enjoying harvest while you’re still in the planting season. Remember, they had to go through a season of planting just as you are.

Seedtime represents learning the will of God. Each time I choose God’s will instead of my own, I’m planting a good seed that will eventually bring a harvest in my life.

Between seedtime and harvest comes a time of waiting. Roots shoot down, digging their way through the ground. It takes time for this to happen, and it takes place underground. Above the ground, you can’t tell anything is happening.

After we plant seeds of obedience, we feel like nothing is happening, but all kinds of things are happening inside where we can’t see. And like the seed that finally bursts through the ground with a beautiful green shoot, our seeds of obedience will finally break forth into a beautiful manifestation of God in our lives. - Joyce Meyer

GETTING READY FOR KRAFTWERK

Every time before I go to see a concert, I do preparations, so when I finally in the concert, I feel extremely high. Let me share some tips for getting ready for KRAFTWERK 3D CONCERT 2013.

Tour De France is one of the album of KRAFTWERK I got in 2003. I just put it on again recently to warm up myself, getting ready to see their live concert in May 4th. I haven’t listen to it for quite a while and when I listen again, it still refreshes me, even better than before, you never get bored with good music, KRAFTWERK is TIMELESS.

More than 40 years ago, in the cold, clean recesses of their Kling Klang studio laboratory located in Düsseldorf, Germany, Ralf Hütter and his former partner Florian Schneider started the electronic multi media project Kraftwerk. They began churning out from an assortment of electronic equipment and their own secret inventions what they termed “machine music”, the likes of which had never been heard before. Cold, precise, minimal, repetitive and almost wholly electronically-processed, this new brand of music was produced by Hütter and Schneider and released on an unsuspecting public in the 70s, and pop music was never the same again…

Beginning in Germany’s late 60s experimental music and art scene and evolving into a notoriously reclusive synth-pop project in the mid 70s, Kraftwerk is today both an institution and an enigma. The group expressed the intention to “make the soundtrack for our computer world” music that incorporates distinctive industrial noise and electronic sounds – drum machine beats, synths, vocodered and human vocals – copied and sampled by musicians such as David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, New Order, Art of Noise and Afrika Bambaataa across all genres and styles.

Strikingly antiseptic and yet strangely compelling, Kraftwerk’s spare melodies, precise programming and hypnotic lyrics (“Radioactivity is in the air for you and me”) reveal a deadpan humor and an appreciation of the absurd. Experienced live, a Kraftwerk show is a perfectly synchronized visual spectacle in 3-D with four programmers standing quite still behind consoles onstage, against a backdrop of perfectly synchronized visual projection, lights, robotics and pure theatre.
